Recognise that bold SÜK emblem? You've probably spotted it stitched onto iconic overalls and a range of exceptional workwear adorned by many around the inner north and well beyond.
No strangers to the area, previously located further north along Nicholson Street, SÜK Workwear chose the Village to set up their office HQ and store, bringing their no-nonsense, all-style ethos with them.
SÜK Founder Mimosa Schmidt spent her 20s working, oftentimes as the only woman on site in hyper masculine spaces and dressed in standard-issue, ill fitting workwear. She felt overlooked from the get-go - a feeling that was exacerbated by the harassment and isolation she endured, for which gender seemed to be the only catalyst. She started to dream up designs that would empower those who have to work doubly hard to earn the respect most others are given freely. The SÜK Workwear range is the culmination of these experiences, paired with years of research and design prototyping. SÜK invites all bodies to have the confidence to be their most creative selves, the versatility to endure any task, and the freedom to look hot while doing it.
